Minuet kitten update#
Those who are on our Litter Update List will get in depth updates on our breeding plans and first choice of our kittens. Anyone can get on our Litter Update List to be kept informed of when litters become available. However, once you wish to reserve a kitten from a litter, we require a non- refundable deposit ($100 for Minuet Tall kitten and $200 for a short kitten) to put your name on that kitten. To get a kitten from Tiny Lions Napoleons, we do not require a deposit to get on a waiting list. The use of these breeds is done to implant certain traits and to expand the gene pool of the Minuets. Please be aware that Minuets having the Persian breed group and Munchkins as parents and grandparents are completely acceptable and can still be show cats. We guarantee that our kittens are purebred Minuets and will all be registered. Since our cats are second- generation Minuets, all our kittens will be third- generation Minuets. Eventually, the standards may faze out using the foundation breeds and our breeding program was modeled for that eventuality. At this time, it is acceptable to use Munchkins and the Persian breed group to produce Minuets, and this is completely fine. We are committed to producing the best third generation Minuets out there, which means that our kittens will have parents and grandparents that are nothing but Minuets. Communications is key in that respect, and we encourage you to contact us with any questions you have about the process. We would like to make it as pleasant an experience as possible. The Napoleons with long legs are still registered as a purebred cat, and have all the same wondefful traits as the short legged siblings, exept of course short legs.Getting a kitten is a big deal and can be a little daunting. Some Napoleons have long legs (non-standard) and some have short legs (standard). Some people call them rug huggers because they are so low to the ground when they travel around playing. The Napoleon has a very interesting way of standing up, it is like a squirrel on their hind legs. They are so lovable and social and they love to play. The Napoleon has a kitten like personality. Napoleons are a cross between the wonderful personality of the little munchkin kitten and the beautiful persian cat. Our suggestion: When you find the one you like Don’t Wait! You cannot go wrong with a Napoleon Minuet kitten.

And when normally only half of a litter may have the shortie legs you can see how it may be harder than you think to find your perfect kitty. In our country of 327M people there are only about 50 Napoleon Minuet breeders. The Napoleon Minuet kitten is somewhat of a rare thing. This means that if you get a baby from a high quality breeder who knows exactly what these babies need from the very beginning of life you could easily stand to have 15 or even 20 years with your beautiful pet. One of the best attributes of the Napoleon Minuet breed of cat is the fact that they are an astonishingly healthy animal. They are new in that they haven’t even been around for 20 years like their out-cross ancestors. The Napoleon Minuet kitty/cat is one of the newest, unique and most beloved breed of cat in recent years.
